I have been in Sevilla since yesterday and I’m really enjoying it. I got to the hostel pretty late so all I did yesterday was go on a short walk in the area of my hostel, and at night I went on the tapas tour that the hostel was offering. We went to a tapas bar and had some tapas (duh!) and then went to another bar to watch a flamenco show, which was really great! And dude, flamenco looks like hard work. Thanks to the hostel’s fabulous computers I can even post some pictures already.
Today I went to see the Alcázar which was amazing, so beautiful! I love the Arab influence on architecture here in Andalusia.
While I was at the Alcázar, there was a girl getting pictures taken (I think for her communion). I took this snapshot (and I love it!).
Afterwards I went to visit the Cathedral which was really beautiful too, with a nice view over Sevilla from the Giralda, the tower of the Cathedral.
Well, I am off to have some dinner, but I’ll hopefully be able to post again soon.
