Today at work one of my co-workers showed us this book - can’t remember the title but it was some Latin book with a German translation, a normal-sized hardcover - that costs €464. No, that is not a typo. The book really costs that much!
You’d think that for that price it would at least be hand-written or in gold letters or something, but it really just looks like a normal book.
You’d also think that no one would actually buy that book. Well, our customer actually ordered two copies.
That is €928! For two books! Or a pretty nice vacation. Or a new laptop. Or a lot of other pretty awesome stuff. All lying on my co-worker’s desk in the shape of two books. Madness!
But I guess it is still a bargain compared to the Codex Leicester by Leonardo DaVinci, which cost Bill Gates $30,800,000. ;)
