Well, this year is almost over. It’s been a really great one.

I spent January to May in Oklahoma, June to September in Munich, and October to December in Heidelberg. In every one of these places I have (made) great friends. I am really grateful for every single one of them. I may not see some of them, especially my friends in Oklahoma, for a while, but I still appreciate our friendship.

I started doing WeightWatchers in September, and I have done great so far. It’s so easy to stick to, and the success is the biggest motivation. I am really proud of myself, because I am doing this by myself, and I have been so desciplined. I want to reach my goal weight within the next few months, and then maintain that weight.

I seem to finally have gotten my act together in school. I still lack motivation at times, but my grades have been pretty damn good so far this semester, and I have been keeping up with school work, so my finals should go okay in February. I am still not sure what I will do after I graduate but I have some time to figure that out, so I’m not too worried yet.

I am really happy that in the past week that I’ve been home things have been very peaceful with my family. I didn’t fight at all with my brother, which makes me hope we will finally have a more mature relationship, and my parents and I also get along pretty well.
It makes being at home really enjoyable, and I like spending time with my parents.

I got to travel a lot, and see new places. I went to California in March, the East Coast in May/June, and Turkey in October. I really love soaking up all the impressions in places I’ve never been before and taking pictures of these beautiful places. I hope I can do some more traveling next year as well, and see some places in Europe that are on my must-see list.

Well, I hope that you’ve had a good year as well.

Happy New Year Everyone!
