My friend Randy is awesome! I mean I knew that before, else I wouldn’t be friends with him for this long (6.5 years now), but he’s such a sweetie! Wanna know why?
He is hosting my homepage for me now! :D Which means I can use Wordpress again! <3 So thank you bunches my unblood twin! ;) *smooch*

Other than that classes have all started now and been keeping me pretty busy. So far everything is going really well though. I do notice that maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to take a one-year break from Spanish, but hopefully I’ll get back into it soon. I mean I know it’s all in my head, I just have to find it ;) Italian is easy so far because obviously I have already learned everything we’ve done so far. But I have to say it has become clearer than ever how different the levels are here and at OU. I think every single person in my Italian class at OU would have been lost after 15 minutes in my class. The teacher speaks no German (not because she can’t but because she doesn’t want to and she’s not supposed to). Heck, our book doesn’t even have a vocab section! We are supposed to learn all the words through context. :-/
My English classes are all good. My Spanish Lit class is way full, 90 people in a room for 40 but they’re splitting up the class, so hopefully a lot of people will leave and go to the other section (I can’t, I already have a class at that time).
But things are good. I don’t get enough sleep, and I am tired all the time, I have a lot of homework, but it’s good to be busy again for a change. I have met some nice people in my classes so far so that’s great as well.

Tomorrow (my day off, woohoo for a 3-day-weekend) I am meeting with Julia from my class to work on an assignment, then I’m meeting with Sascha, and in the evening I’ll be watching Garden State at Denise’s. I am looking forward to that. I haven’t seen the movie yet but I’ve heard a lot of good things.

In other news, my dad got out of the hospital on Sunday. He’ll be home for two more weeks but then he should be okay. I’m glad. He told me that the docs told him 40 years ago he would have died from what he had. Good thing it’s not 40 years ago. It did scare me though because who wants to hear their dad could’ve died from the illness he had?! I like to pretend my parents will never die because right now I am just not ready to be alone. I mean I live by myself but I know they’re there, and they’ll be here for me when I need them.

Well, I am going to end this here. It’s late, I’m tired (had four classes today), and since I am meeting with Julia tomorrow (and want to go to the library before I meet her), I cannot actually sleep in that late!

Oh yeah, Weight Watchers has been going really well. I have lost about 15lbs already. :D Later!

I just wanted to let y’all know that http://www.bevived.net is working again, so please enter my site through that URL.

Classes started yesterday. So far so good. I have only had one class yet (out of five), because all my Spanish classes start next week. Tomorrow I have an English class though and after that I’m meeting with Sascha, and on Thursday I have one more English class after which I’ll be meeting with Denise. but that’s it for this week. Considering I am taking 22 hours this semester, it’s been a really lazy start (with 6 hours this week). But I am sure once the next week is over I’ll be whining about how stressed out I am. ;)

I finished week six of Weightwatchers today (yes, still doing it), and it’s been going well. I am back on track with counting my points (I didn’t count while I was in Turkey, so I only lost very little that week), and back to a normal weekly loss. Yay for me!

Well, that’s it for now. Toodles!
