I am back at home in Munich. I got back on Friday so I’ve been here a few days already.

My trip was great. With the exception of that nasty cold that I caught in NYC everything went just great. I had a fun time and I really loved all cities. They were all different but beautiful in their own way. I will be trying to upload pictures soon, I definitely took loads. I saw so many places, the White House, the Declaraction of Independence and the Constitution, the Liberty Bell, Empire State Building, Ground Zero, the Freedom Trail, etc etc. I went to countless museums, and spent lots of money on admission and souvenirs. It was a long trip though. Three weeks, and very intense. I have to say after three weeks I was ready to go home. (By home I do not mean Germany, just “home”. Norman is home to me, just like Munich and Heidelberg. Either would have been fine with me, as long as it’s home.)

Tuesday I got to see the OKC Bombing Memorial in OKC on the way home from the airport. Morgan and her fiance picked me up, and they had to go look at a church which happened to be just right across the street from the memorial. So I went and checked that out, and it is really beautiful. (You can see pictures in the gallery.)

Wednesday I spent all day hanging out with Colette. We went and ran some errands, and then ate at the Union, and then saw “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” which was cute but kinda cheesy. Colette also gave me a ride to the airport.

The flight back home to Munich was a bit of a disaster. Lot’s of delays, and I ended up missing my flight from Dallas to London, and then for some reason still made the flight to Munich (but my baggage didn’t). It was just super stressful. But oh well, I am home, and my baggage came that same night.

Since I’ve been home, I’ve just spent a lot of time at home and with Tina. She went back to passau for school this morning so I won’t see her for two weeks now.

I also ordered a new cellphone. I will be getting the Siemens CFX75 with Vodafone. I found a company through which I am ordering that I will get €164 from them, and the phone for free. The plan I am getting is a student one. I was going to keep my old plan but almost none of my friends have T-Mobile now, so there’s no point in keeping it. I should have the phone by the beginning of next week, so I’ll let y’all know my new number by then. Hopefully it’ll be as easy to memorize as my old one.

Well, I’ll end this here. I just figured I’d write so you know I’m doing good and am home.
