Tonight I saw “Sahara” with Lauren. It was a special preview screening and I had a voucher so that’s how we got to see it a day before it came out (and it was free, woo!)
It’s a really good movie, funny, and Matthew is yummy! ;) It’s basically a Indy Jones type of movie and I love those movies so I enjoyed it a lot! Go see it :)

Tomorrow I will be going to the movies again with Holly and hopefully we’ll be seeing Fever Pitch which is coming out tomorrow as well. I haven’t heard back from her yet though (on the movie, we’re definitely going though), so I will find out tomorrow.

I just decided to make a plan of which classes to take when. I constantly have the whole “I am going back to Germany in two months” on my mind, so I am getting a little anxious about everything, especially uni. If I stick to my plan I’ll be done with classes in the summer of 2007, and graduating in 2008 (with an MA, mind you!). Now how likely it is that I actually stick to it depends on a few things. First of all how many classes that I took here I will be getting credit for in Heidelberg (I am pretty sure about two, but hoping for five), and then how tough the classes are going to be. I haven’t taken a Hauptseminar level class yet so I don’t know how many of those I can take per semester. (I just know that a HS involves a 20 page research paper, so it might get a little tough having to write three papers this long at a time.)
But yeah, I will see. 2008 would not be bad at all, considering I started Spanish a year after English, and was abroad for a year. (For the record, I started in 2002, and in 2008 I will turn 25 in June.)

Well, I am going to go and do some reading for tomorrow and then sleep, because I still need to catch up on sleep :p

So this past weekend was really stressful.

Friday night was fun, as I went out with Holly, and we ate at Panera Bread and then saw “Miss Congeniality 2″ which is a really cute and funny movie. We had a great time!

Saturday I got up at 0700 for Big Event. I had to be on campus at 0800, and Holly gave me a ride (which I am really thankful for seeing as walking would have taken me like 45 minutes). I ended up making cards for patients at a hospice with some gorls of A O Pi and it was pretty fun. We were done at shortly before noon, and they had a lottery for arena football tickets and guess who won?! :D Yeah! I don’t know who I’m going with yet but hopefully someone will want to (else I cannot go at all, because I can’t get there by myself without a car). When I got home I started reading but fell asleep after a while, and slept for like 2 hours or so. The rest of the day I spent reading, doing laundry and working on my essay.

Sunday I went to the induction ceremony of GBP, so now I am officially a member. Go me! I got my membership certificate and some other stuff and two t-shirts. Sunday was such a nice day, it was 81° (27°C) outside, just bad I didn’t even get to be outside much (except for my walk to and from campus which was probably 30 minutes one way). I did my psych homework after the ceremony and then prepared my presentation.

So I did get everything done that I wanted but it was stressful. I certainly need a break now. I still have that psych exam on Wednesaday though, so it’ll have to wait two more days. The presentation today went okay. I know RC had really high expectations of me so I hope I fulfilled those. I really want an A in that class so an A in the presentation would help.

Tonight I just watched 24 and took care of my feet. Gotta love my footsoak from Bath & Body Works! :D Now that I am wearing flip flops again every day I have to make sure my feet look good. :)

Tomorrow I won’t go to class (I just have one class anyway) or work so I have the whole day for studying. Tomorrow night I’ll probably study with Joe again, like for the last two semesters. I really hope I’ll be able to get everything done and be well prepared. I just have one day but if I work hard tomorrow I should be okay.

Well, other than that nothing much is going on here, so I’ll end this now. I am watching Futurama and after that Family Guy is on so I guess I’ll be up for a while :p But I still need the apartment to cool down. I feel so hot, and it’s like 80° in here so I doubt I’d be able to sleep. I tried to turn the A/C on but it’s so loud (it’s broken) so I turned it back off, and opened the window (gee, how un-American :p).
