Well, now I’m already at the end of my second week of classes after spring break. Wow. Just six more weeks I think. Scary how time flies!
I did take my midterms last week, and the first one went well, and the second not so. It was just really really tough. But I ended up doing really well anyway. I got an A- on the Chicana Lit one, and a B on the Harlem Renaissance one. I am fine with a B in that class because it’s so tough! She actually had to do a curve because noone did so well (I have 75%). So I was lucky about that. Now it should be working out that I get three As and one B, and that would actually improve my GPA by a little.
I also got my Italian test and composition back. Got a 94 on the test and a 100 on the composition. My lowest test grade so far, but it’s okay. It’s not like I’d get a better grade with a 99 average than with a 90 average anyway. Today we had a quiz that went really well. I didn’t study the vocab well enough but she made it a group quiz so we worked together and I think we did really well.

Other than that I’ve not been up to much. Yesterday I went to the Nacho Average (a fund raising thing) at Delta Gamma, and it was cool. Yummy food. Also the first frat/sorority house I’ve seen from the inside so that was cool. I’d love to see what the Beta house looks like from the inside because it’s so nice from the outside but I don’t know any frat guys, haha.

Saturday it’s Big Event, and I’ll be working at a hospice in NW OKC helping out in old people’s households. Hopefully that will be fun. I hope I won’t have to work at a house by myself though. :/ I’ll have to get up super early, as I have to be on campus at 0745, and I have to walk there. So that means I have to get up at 0600 or so. *yawn*

Sunday is the Gamma Beta Phi Induction ceremony. Yeah! That will really be helpful with my resume. I’m really curious what it will be like, as I’ve never been to something like that. :)

Right, I’m gonna go. I think Johanna wants to go to bed, and so should I seeing as I have to work at 1000 tomorrow.
